About Smartagious

Smartagious.com is a site that allows people to connect, interact and grow based on being smart. It was built in response to a story published online by the Daily Beast. In that story, the Daily Beast identified the smartest cities in the United States and it seemed like the criteria was a bit obtuse. In the name of full disclosure, the founders of Smartagious.com reside in Fresno, California. Fresno was ranked last in the Daily Beast's list. It's not to say that people in Fresno are dumb, but according to the Daily Beast, Fresno is the 55th (last) smartest city in the United States.

So a few dummies in Fresno decided to create a site dedicated to smartness--a site dedicated to measuring smartness in a new way. So over a cup of coffee, then over a few beers, then over some more coffee, Nick Gundry, Travis Sheridan and Floyd Sanchez founded Smartagious™. The mission: to spread brilliance and change the smartness conversation.

Smartagious™ exists to spread brilliance through the Web's first online Cerebral Network. That sounds kind of funny, but think about how smart people interact and how smartness should be measured.
